Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage prospective clients in sports leagues, entertainment productions, and event organizations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, franchise owners, production managers, and other key stakeholders.
- Assess client risk profiles and recommend tailored insurance products, including:
- Event Cancellation Insurance
- Film Production Insurance
- Liability Coverage
- Personal Accident & Health Insurance for crew and athletes
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to structure competitive and compliant policies.
- Drive sales targets through strategic account management and cross-selling opportunities.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals in alignment with client needs and regulatory standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks in sports and entertainment.
- Contribute to product innovation based on client feedback and market gaps.
- Ensure accurate documentation of contracts, endorsements, and policy issuance.
- Adhere to IRDAI guidelines and internal compliance protocols.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in insurance sales, preferably in sports, entertainment, or event insurance.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products and risk management practices.
- Experience handling high-value contracts and international touring or event risks is an advantage.
