Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all electrical-related work at the plant.
- Monitor, maintain, and ensure compliance of electrical systems including transformers, DG sets, LT panels, VFDs, motors, MCC and PCC panels, plant & street lighting.
- Oversee the smooth running of electrical systems across the facility.
- Coordinate with vendors and third parties for project execution.
- Conduct transformer annual maintenance and earth pit testing.
- Supervise installation and erection activities of new equipment.
- Monitor and maintain UPS systems and batteries.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Oversee utilities operations: water systems (RO, softener, DM, PUW, PSG), boiler, chiller, HVAC, air compressor, ETP.
- Prepare shift reports for managers and cross-functional teams.
- Manage powerhouse operations, including 400 KVA DG sets, transformers, MCC & PCC, and changeover systems.
- Support manufacturing and maintenance activities.
- Maintain a database for critical spare parts management.
- Handle Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) effectively.
- Ensure 100% compliance with QMS and safety standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering or plant maintenance.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, transformers, DG sets, MCC/PCC panels, and UPS systems.
- Strong understanding of utility management (boilers, chillers, HVAC, water treatment systems).
- Hands-on experience in vendor coordination and AMC management.
- Familiarity with QMS and safety compliance standards.
- Excellent troubleshooting, leadership, and reporting skills.
