Responsibilities
As a Lead Experience Designer at BCG X, you will:
- Lead the design and prototyping of digital products including websites, mobile apps, and enterprise solutions.
- Drive user research, translate insights into actionable design strategies, and build human-centered experiences.
- Collaborate with engineers, consultants, researchers, and designers to deliver cohesive solutions.
- Mentor and lead design teams, providing guidance on UI design, UX strategy, and design systems.
- Manage large-scale, complex design projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and client satisfaction.
- Push the boundaries of digital design with innovative approaches across emerging technologies and interaction models.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in UI/UX design with an outstanding portfolio.
- Ability to lead human-centered design projects from research to execution.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align design goals with business objectives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for client-facing roles.
- Ability to mentor, coach, and inspire design teams.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in UI/UX or Experience Design roles.
- 4+ years in leadership or client-facing consulting roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Expertise in at least 5+ design tools/technologies, such as:
- Figma, Sketch, InVision
- Prototyping tools (Framer, Principle, etc.)
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Adobe InDesign, After Effects
- Additional skills (preferred): Project Management, Branding, Animation, Illustration, Print Design.
