Key Responsibilities
Data Operations & Management
- Monitor and support daily operations of the firm’s data platform (cloud-based data warehouse and data lake).
- Manage and optimize data pipelines from data acquisition to data distribution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and data inconsistencies efficiently.
- Create, maintain, and update production data operations documentation.
Process Improvement
- Establish systematic processes to ensure efficient onboarding and management of data assets.
- Implement best practices to improve reliability, quality, and performance of data pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.
Mandatory Skills
- Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, and SQL.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in monitoring, managing, and optimizing data pipelines.
- Good documentation and process management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of additional cloud platforms or ETL tools.
- Familiarity with data governance and security practices.
- Experience working in fast-paced, global team environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in data support, data engineering, or analytics operations.
