📋 Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple industrial design projects for the Kitchen Appliances business and support strategic brand initiatives.
- Own the design process from project initiation to product launch, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Conduct consumer and competitor research to identify user needs and design opportunities.
- Ideate and conceptualize solutions via sketching, CAD modeling, prototyping, visualization, and storytelling.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including marketing, R&D, procurement, and production.
- Set up and facilitate design ideation workshops to explore innovative solutions.
- Review prototypes and production samples, providing feedback and design documentation.
- Apply brand design language guidelines consistently and contribute to its evolution.
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and challenge the status quo to drive user-centric innovation.
- Mentor and guide internal and external designers on project-based assignments.
- Ensure a holistic design approach, connecting design competencies and deliverables.
- Inspire the design community by sharing best practices, case studies, and innovative ideas.
🎨 Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in home appliances, consumer electronics, or product design.
- Strong sense of aesthetics, proportions, detailing, and usability.
- Expertise in design for manufacturing and understanding production processes.
- Proficient in hand or digital sketching, prototyping, CAD modeling (Rhino / Pro-E Creo), and rendering (KeyShot).
- Independent, proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel to suppliers, prototype/model makers, and exhibitions.
- Ability to bring fresh, bold, and innovative ideas to the team.
