Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant in Salesforce at Deloitte, you will:
- CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Copado for Salesforce projects to streamline development and deployment.
- Version Control & Deployment: Implement best practices for automated deployments, Git branching strategies, and change management to ensure smooth Salesforce releases.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Salesforce developers, admins, and business stakeholders to integrate Copado with external tools like Jira, GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket.
- Troubleshoot & Optimize: Identify and resolve deployment issues, providing root-cause analysis and optimizing release processes for faster and more reliable deployments.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure that all releases comply with security, audit, and regulatory requirements, especially for clients in regulated industries.
- Training & Best Practices: Provide guidance and training to teams on Copado and Salesforce best practices to optimize workflows and deployment strategies.
Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Experience: 3–6 years in Salesforce DevOps, Release Management, or CI/CD processes.
- Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with Copado (mandatory), Salesforce metadata, and Salesforce packaging.
- Version Control: Proficiency in Git-based version control, branching strategies, and GitHub/GitLab.
- Tools: Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and knowledge of APIs, integrations, and automated testing frameworks.
- Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to optimize release processes.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications: Copado certifications (e.g., Copado Fundamentals I & II, Copado Consultant) and Salesforce certifications (e.g., Admin, Platform Developer I/II).
- DevOps Tools: Experience with other tools like Gearset, AutoRABIT, Jenkins.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience working in regulated industries like finance or healthcare.
