Deloitte is hiring a Data Engineering Consultant to join its fast-growing Analytics & Information Management team. This is a hybrid, full-time role based out of Bengaluru (and other locations across India), ideal for professionals with strong data engineering, L1/L2 support, and agile delivery experience. As a Data Consultant, you will provide second-line support, work closely with product owners, and collaborate with developers and stakeholders to optimize data processes and infrastructure.

β Key Responsibilities
As a Data Consultant, your role includes supporting live systems, collaborating across teams, and enhancing end-user experience.
- Provide L2 technical support for issues escalated from L1 teams.
- Maintain and update tickets within the internal ticketing system.
- Coordinate with Product Owners and Developers to prioritize tasks and resolve critical issues.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and user story refinements.
- Conduct initial issue analysis in intake meetings with end-users.
- Collaborate with topic owners and development teams for solution design.
- Support urgent and priority deployments provided by development teams.
- Address user access issues and manage system permissions.
- Partner with external vendors and stakeholders for complex troubleshooting.
- Document changes, updates, and status of incidents transparently and consistently.
- Monitor system health, identify recurring problems, and suggest preventive actions.

- Strong understanding of L1/L2 technical support workflows
- Experience using ticketing and incident management systems
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to troubleshoot data-related and access management issues
- Knowledge of deployment processes, sprint management, and backlog tracking
- Exposure to BI/Dashboard tools and data access systems is a plus
π Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering
- 3β6 years of relevant industry experience
- Experience in Data Analytics or Information Management domains
- Prior experience working with global cross-functional teams
- Agile certification or Scrum knowledge preferred
