Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and plan wireline (slickline) intervention programs for wells in Dukhan Field.
- Supervise the execution of wireline programs to ensure operations comply with QatarEnergy standards and industry regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents for slickline service contracts.
- Provide input to the wireline section budget and operational planning.
- Develop and write operational procedures for wireline activities.
- Ensure H2S operations are conducted safely and according to regulatory requirements.
- Maintain adherence to API standards and oilfield industry norms.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve safe, efficient, and timely operations.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of wireline operations, slickline intervention, and well services supervision.
- Proven experience in H2S environments and safe oilfield practices.
- Familiarity with API standards, equipment specifications, and operational protocols.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage rotational shifts and field-based work assignments.
- Strong decision-making and organizational abilities for high-pressure operational environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BSc) from an accredited university preferred; exceptional candidates with strong operational track records may also be considered.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience supervising wireline or well services operations in the oil and gas industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in H2S operations and industrial safety practices.
- Comprehensive understanding of well intervention equipment and wireline procedures.
