This critical role involves driving well integrity initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry standards, performing risk assessments, and leading cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in well integrity systems, well barriers, corrosion monitoring, and abandonment procedures, supported by extensive experience in well completions and rigless operations. Key Responsibilities

Well Integrity Management & Compliance

• Lead well integrity management activities in accordance with QatarEnergy LNG’s Well Integrity Management System (WIMS) and QG SHE policies.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments, root cause analysis, and recommend remedial and preventative actions to mitigate well integrity risks.
• Oversee well barrier Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance (ITM) ensuring full compliance with approved standards.
• Monitor annulus pressures and establish well operating envelopes, including MAASP and MAWOP limits.

Corrosion Monitoring & Well Lifecycle Support

• Develop and implement downhole and surface corrosion monitoring strategies to ensure well longevity.
• Provide technical expertise during well design, barrier construction, suspension, and abandonment phases.
• Collaborate with new ventures during planning and start-up to embed well integrity best practices.
• Ensure well abandonment procedures comply with industry standards and corporate guidelines.

System Improvement & Cross-Functional Leadership

• Continuously review and update the Well Integrity Management System to align with evolving company requirements and industry best practices.
• Develop and implement well integrity-related processes and operational programs.
• Lead multifunctional teams, collaborating with stakeholders across disciplines to deliver effective well integrity solutions.
• Assess safety-critical elements and safeguards within well operations to uphold rigorous safety and operational standards.

Skills & Competencies

• Expertise in well integrity systems, well barriers, wellhead maintenance, and tree management.
• Strong understanding of well suspension, abandonment, and rigless operation techniques.
• Proven ability to perform detailed risk assessments and root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication skills for working within multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of corrosion monitoring technologies and annulus pressure management.
• Proficient in industry-standard software and risk management tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, or related disciplines).
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in well integrity engineering, with significant exposure to well suspension, abandonment, and completions.
• At least 5 years’ experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Offshore experience is highly desirable.
