Responsibilities
As a QA Specialist / Software Tester, you will:
- Review and analyze system specifications for accuracy and feasibility.
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.
- Execute load and performance tests using tools like JMeter.
- Ensure the portal meets performance, usability, and user experience standards.
- Perform post-release and post-implementation testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Contribute to the creation of automation test suites using Selenium, TestNG, or similar tools.
Skills & Expertise
- Strong experience in automation testing using Selenium, TestNG, JUnit.
- Proficiency in performance testing and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and regression testing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and projects.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech/Any Graduate
- Experience: 5+ years in software testing, automation, and performance testing
- Domain Knowledge: Digital Government projects preferred
