Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable software solutions using Java 8/11, Spring Boot, React.js, and Spring MVC
- Architect and implement microservices for enhanced scalability and system maintainability
- Manage database design, optimization, and queries using SQL Server and PL/SQL
- Utilize Kafka for real-time data streaming, messaging, and integration workflows
- Develop and maintain efficient ETL processes for robust data extraction, transformation, and loading
- Build and support RESTful APIs to integrate front-end applications and third-party services
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver features on time
- Ensure high code quality through rigorous code reviews, unit testing, and automation
- Mentor junior developers, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends to continually improve software solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges promptly
- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements within the Asset & Wealth Management sector
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven expertise with Java 8 or 11, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Core Java, and React.js
- Strong experience in Kafka for real-time streaming and event-driven architecture
- Solid skills in SQL Server, PL/SQL, and relational database design and optimization
- Experience with Python, ETL tools, and developing RESTful web services
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native development
- Prior work experience in Asset & Wealth Management or financial services domain is highly preferred
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging abilities
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for hybrid work environments
