Key Responsibilities
As a Technology Support III – IAM AuthNZ Production Management professional, you will:
- Deliver end-to-end application and infrastructure support, enabling seamless business operations.
- Build proactive monitoring solutions and contribute to auto-heal/recovery mechanisms for system failures.
- Analyze and visualize application/system health, uptime, performance, and change/capacity management metrics.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to build reliable systems, identify patterns in incidents, conduct post-mortems, and implement permanent remediation plans.
- Drive automation initiatives to prevent recurring production issues and improve service delivery.
- Quickly identify and escalate hidden issues to minimize disruption and maintain high availability.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- 3+ years of experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and resolving IT production issues.
- Hands-on experience with Linux, UNIX, and Windows platforms and middleware/application support.
- Expertise in automation and configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Programming/scripting proficiency in Python and Java.
- Experience handling critical application outages in large-scale operations with root cause analysis and remediation.
- Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or Splunk.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, GIT, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum practices.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Understanding of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
- Knowledge of Cloud Engineering, private cloud principles, and public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
