Key Responsibilities

• Perform application security testing using Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), and Software Composition Analysis (SCA) tools.
• Implement and enforce secure coding practices following industry standards (e.g., OWASP Top Ten).
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security solutions into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Conduct threat modeling sessions to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Strategize and implement security testing plans and workflows for client applications.
• Provide expert recommendations to address security vulnerabilities and enhance application resilience.
• Maintain hands-on expertise in security tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, and Fortify.

Skills & Expertise Required

• Strong knowledge of application security testing (SAST, DAST, SCA).
• Proficient in secure coding standards and vulnerability assessment.
• Experience in threat modeling and penetration testing.
• Hands-on experience using security tools:
  • Burp Suite
  • Nessus
  • Fortify
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hybrid environment with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (BE/B Tech), M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT), or M.C.A.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in application security testing and secure coding practices.
• Preferred experience in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Strong background in security strategy, threat modeling, and risk mitigation.
