Key Responsibilities
- Conduct application security testing using static, dynamic, and software composition analysis tools (SAST, DAST, SCA).
- Implement and enforce secure coding practices across development teams.
- Perform threat modeling sessions to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Collaborate with development teams to review code for vulnerabilities and recommend fixes.
- Strategize, plan, and execute vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for enterprise applications.
- Utilize security tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, Fortify for testing and reporting.
- Document and share security best practices and maintain technical security documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- BE / B.Tech in any stream, M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT), or M.C.A.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in application security testing.
- Strong knowledge of secure coding standards (e.g., OWASP Top Ten).
- Hands-on experience with SAST, DAST, and SCA tools.
- Ability to conduct threat modeling and assess security risks.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Proficiency with security tools like Burp Suite, Nessus, or Fortify.
- Knowledge of enterprise security frameworks and application security methodologies.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
