Key Responsibilities
- Perform application security testing using SAST, DAST, and SCA tools.
- Define strategies and plans for secure code development and vulnerability management.
- Conduct threat modeling sessions to identify, mitigate, and prevent security risks.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices are followed.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to strengthen application security posture.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security standards, tools, and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- BE/B.Tech in any stream, M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT), or MCA.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in application security testing.
- Strong knowledge of secure coding standards (e.g., OWASP Top Ten).
- Proficiency in SAST/DAST/SCA tools for security testing.
- Hands-on experience in threat modeling and risk mitigation.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience with security tools like Burp Suite, Nessus, or Fortify.
- Ability to conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Understanding of enterprise application security frameworks and DevSecOps practices.
