- Perform application security testing using static and dynamic analysis tools (SAST, DAST, SCA).
- Strategize and plan security testing approaches for applications and software systems.
- Ensure adherence to secure coding practices and review code for vulnerabilities.
- Conduct threat modeling sessions to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to strengthen application defenses.
- Utilize security tools like Burp Suite, Nessus, or Fortify for testing and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into software delivery.
- Maintain security documentation and provide guidance on remediation strategies.
💡 Required Skills & Expertise
- BE/B.Tech in any stream, M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT), or MCA with minimum 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience with application security testing tools (SAST/DAST/SCA).
- Strong knowledge of secure coding standards, including OWASP Top Ten.
- Ability to conduct threat modeling sessions and risk assessments.
- Proficiency in using security tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, or Fortify.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
