Key Responsibilities
- Perform application security testing using SAST, DAST, and SCA tools.
- Strategize and plan security testing for applications across the SDLC.
- Enforce secure coding practices and standards throughout projects.
- Conduct threat modeling sessions to identify and mitigate risks.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to review code for security issues.
- Stay up-to-date on latest security technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- BE / B.Tech in any stream, M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT), or M.C.A.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in application security.
- Hands-on expertise in SAST, DAST, and SCA tools.
- Knowledge of secure coding standards such as OWASP Top Ten.
- Strong skills in threat modeling and vulnerability assessment.
- Proficiency with security tools like Burp Suite, Nessus, or Fortify.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in penetration testing and advanced security assessments.
- Exposure to consulting environments and client-facing roles.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior team members in security practices.
