Summary
Deloitte is seeking a Consultant – DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC/IaD) with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in building and managing Jenkins pipelines, GitHub Actions, Git repositories, and cloud infrastructure automation.
This role is ideal for professionals passionate about DevOps automation, continuous integration and deployment, and cloud infrastructure provisioning. You will collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to streamline software delivery, optimize deployment cycles, and implement best practices in CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and IaC/IaD processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Git repositories
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC/IaD) using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar tools
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management across cloud and hybrid environments
- Integrate automated testing, code quality checks, and security scanning into pipelines
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures and infrastructure deployment issues, and implement fixes
- Maintain version control strategies and enforce Git best practices across development teams
- Document pipeline configurations, IaC scripts, and operational procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
- Mentor junior team members and promote DevOps culture and best practices
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Strong proficiency with Git source control, branching, and merging strategies
- Experience in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deploying infrastructure in cloud environments
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus
- Ability to integrate automated testing and security tools into pipelines
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps principles
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform, AWS/Azure/GCP, or related DevOps tools
- Experience with security practices in CI/CD and IaC pipelines, including secret management and vulnerability scanning
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools for pipeline and infrastructure health
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.E / B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
