🛠️ Key Responsibilities

As a Manual Test Engineer / QA Analyst, you will:

• Design and develop comprehensive test cases and test plans based on functional requirements.
• Execute manual tests on web and mobile applications to identify defects and performance issues.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure software quality and usability.
• Document and report bugs using defect tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Conduct regression testing to verify that previously fixed bugs remain resolved.
• Participate in test planning sessions and contribute to continuous improvements in QA processes.
• Assist in the development and execution of automated test scripts as needed.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in software quality assurance.

💡 Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in manual testing techniques and QA methodologies.
• Ability to write clear and detailed test cases and test documentation.
• Proficiency with bug tracking systems such as JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.
• Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

🌟 Preferred Skills

• Exposure to automated testing tools like Selenium or QTP.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and participation in Agile ceremonies (Scrum, Sprint Planning).
• Experience with performance testing and security testing.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and experience in database testing.

🎓 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing.
• ISTQB or equivalent testing certification is a plus.
