About the Role

As a Finance Operations Team Lead / Senior Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, analysis, and project accounting functions to support key decision-making processes. You’ll lead financial consolidation, perform reconciliations, prepare management reports, and collaborate with teams to ensure compliance, accuracy, and transparency across all financial activities.

This role demands a proactive professional with a deep understanding of financial operations, data analysis, and accounting systems to deliver insights that drive business performance.


Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Manage intercompany accounting activities, including reconciliations and eliminations.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations, resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Generate and analyze financial reports to assess organizational performance.
  • Ensure the completeness, accuracy, and compliance of financial statements.

2. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Prepare and consolidate management reports for multiple business units.
  • Conduct financial forecasting, variance analysis, and performance tracking.
  • Deliver actionable insights through data-driven financial analysis.
  • Support senior management with ad hoc financial reporting and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with business units to align budgets and strategic goals.

3. Project Accounting & Reporting

  • Oversee project cash reconciliations and IFCA (Integrated Financial & Cost Accounting) transactions.
  • Accurately allocate project costs and maintain audit-ready documentation.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required financial data.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in project accounting and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and financial regulations.

Required Skills & Expertise

  • 2–12 years of experience in Financial Accounting, FP&A, or Project Accounting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP tools (Oracle R12 preferred) and advanced Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional coordination.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with IFCA systems, data consolidation, and audit preparation.
  • Exposure to financial process improvement and automation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance, and governance frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Professional certifications like CPA, CMA, or CA (preferred).
  • Solid understanding of financial reconciliation, analysis, and management reporting.
