Responsibilities
As a T24 Upgrade Specialist, you will:
- Lead end-to-end T24 upgrade projects (TAFJ/TAFC) across DEV, UAT, and PROD environments.
- Perform technical assessments, impact analysis, and gap analysis for upgrade readiness.
- Design and implement upgrade strategies, including data migration, customization retrofitting, and integration validation.
- Collaborate with Temenos, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
- Manage technical teams, provide mentorship, and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Conduct performance tuning, environment optimization, and post-upgrade validation.
- Prepare and maintain upgrade runbooks, rollback plans, audit documentation, and compliance reports.
- Stay updated with Temenos release notes, patches, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6–12 years of experience in Temenos T24 (Transact) core banking systems.
- Expertise in T24 upgrades (e.g., R17 to R22), including TAFJ and TAFC frameworks.
- Proven experience in TAFC to TAFJ migrations.
- Strong understanding of T24 architecture, COB, local customizations, and upgrades.
- Proficiency in jBase, Infobasic Code, Unix/Linux, Oracle, SQL Server.
- Strong leadership skills to manage upgrade teams and client expectations.
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder communication abilities.
