Key Responsibilities
As the I&C Maintenance Supervisor at ADNOC Gas, you will:
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities for Instrumentation & Control (I&C) systems
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, operational procedures, and maintenance schedules
- Supervise I&C technicians and contractors to ensure timely task completion
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in PLCs, DCS, SCADA, field instruments, and control loops
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and HSE teams to support plant reliability and integrity
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and system updates
- Participate in shutdown planning, risk assessments, and equipment reliability reviews
Required Skills
- In-depth understanding of I&C systems in oil & gas or petrochemical plants
- Strong knowledge of control systems (DCS/PLC/SCADA) and industrial instrumentation
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, and technical documentation
- Supervisory and team leadership capabilities in high-risk industrial environments
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or related engineering field
- 8+ years of experience in I&C maintenance in oil and gas, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
- Previous work experience in onshore operations or a similar ADNOC facility preferred
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); Arabic is a plus
- Knowledge of international safety and maintenance standards (IEC, ISA, API)
