Key Responsibilities
As the Condition Monitoring Supervisor at ADNOC Gas, you will:
- Lead condition monitoring programs for rotating and static equipment including compressors, turbines, pumps, and heat exchangers.
- Oversee the use of vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasonic testing, oil analysis, and motor current signature analysis.
- Implement and continuously improve predictive maintenance strategies aligned with operational excellence targets.
- Monitor and report equipment health trends, failure predictions, and critical risk indicators.
- Analyze data using advanced CMMS and monitoring software, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering teams to enhance equipment reliability and plant performance.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians in condition monitoring practices and safety standards.
- Ensure all activities are performed in line with ADNOC’s HSE and operational policies.
Required Skills and Competencies
The ideal candidate should have:
- Strong background in condition monitoring, vibration analysis, and reliability engineering in oil & gas or petrochemical industries.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as SKF, Emerson CSI, Bently Nevada, or similar.
- Working knowledge of international reliability and maintenance standards (e.g., ISO 10816, ISO 9001, API RP 687).
- Proficiency in interpreting data from predictive maintenance software and presenting actionable insights.
- Effective leadership and communication skills for cross-functional coordination and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Reliability Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in condition monitoring and equipment reliability, preferably in the oil & gas sector
- Certified Vibration Analyst (Cat II or higher) is preferred
- Proficient in English (spoken and written); Arabic is a plus
