Key Responsibilities
As a Sr. Business Analyst (SCM) – QatarEnergy, your responsibilities include:
- Providing specialist SAP support for Materials Management, Warehouse Management, and Quality Management modules.
- Managing end-to-end SAP business processes: Procure-to-Pay (P2P), MRP, inventory, warehouse operations, external service management, and reporting.
- Designing, documenting, and implementing SAP system enhancements and process reengineering.
- Leading full SAP life cycle implementations including configuration, testing, gap analysis, and training.
- Ensuring smooth integration with SAP PM, SD, PS, IS-Oil, FI/CO modules and external systems.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
- Preparing detailed reports and ensuring proper documentation of SAP configurations.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Required Skills & Experience
- 9+ years of professional experience, including:
- 3+ years SAP implementation/support (MM, WM, QM), with at least one full life cycle project as Senior Consultant.
- 6+ years in supply chain management (procurement, inventory, warehouse operations, MRP, service management).
- Strong expertise in SAP MM, WM, and QM applications including purchasing, material valuation, master data, and cataloguing.
- Knowledge of supply chain best practices in Oil & Gas or Petrochemicals.
- Familiarity with SAP project management methodologies and service level management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to lead multicultural teams and collaborate across departments.
- Strong English communication skills (oral & written).
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Petroleum, Management, or related field.
- SAP Certification in Materials Management (MM) preferred.
