Responsibilities

As a Reservoir Engineering Specialist at ADNOC Offshore, you will:

• Analyze wells and reservoir performance to optimize production strategies and forecast development scenarios.
• Develop improved production, completion, and workover plans aimed at maximizing recovery and production efficiency.
• Apply an integrated approach combining geoscience, reservoir engineering, drilling, and completion to assess reservoir risks and uncertainties.
• Design pilot wells and data acquisition programs to reduce operational risks and support decision-making.
• Lead laboratory studies, including SCAL (Special Core Analysis) and PVT (Pressure-Volume-Temperature) to enhance reservoir characterization.
• Participate in integrated reservoir modeling and field development planning to optimize sweep efficiency and recovery rates.
• Supervise and conduct single well and sector model studies to evaluate completion designs and recovery techniques.
• Plan, supervise, and coordinate reservoir engineering activities within the assigned team to meet departmental objectives.
• Train and develop assigned staff, ensuring skill advancement and quality delivery of engineering solutions.
• Support budgeting, cost control, and performance reporting activities aligned with ADNOC’s financial plans.
• Implement and comply with company policies, HSE standards, and sustainability guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in reservoir engineering, field development, and simulation studies within the oil and gas sector.
• Hands-on experience with integrated reservoir management and new technology assessment to enhance production.
• Professional certifications in reservoir engineering or related fields are a plus.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.

Work Environment & Physical Effort

• Primarily office-based in an air-conditioned environment.
• Occasional exposure to outdoor conditions such as heat, humidity, and dust during site visits.
• Minimal physical effort required.
