Responsibilities
- Vendor Master Data Management: Create, update, and maintain accurate vendor master records in business systems, ensuring up-to-date and complete information.
- Reporting & Analysis: Generate and analyze reports to track supplier performance, excess inventory, and logistics metrics. Provide insights to stakeholders based on data findings.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with internal teams such as warehouse, planning, and operations to ensure proper record-keeping and data synchronization.
- Logistics & Compliance: Maintain inbound/outbound shipment records and ensure compliance with import/export regulations for international shipments.
- Cost Analysis: Prepare liability reports and identify opportunities for cost savings, including commodity risk management and excess/obsolete inventory.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and resolve data mismatches, ensure part number databases are updated with the latest information, and support process improvements to enhance data integrity.
Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: At least 4 years of experience in materials management, supply chain, or a related field.
- ERP Systems Knowledge: Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Excel.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
- Problem Solving: Ability to analyze complex data, identify inconsistencies, and implement solutions.
Preferred Skills
- Manufacturing Background: Previous experience in manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
- Data Management: Familiarity with master data management processes and tools.
