Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer – IT Application, your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver valuable software solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
- Design, develop, and maintain new modules on Tesla’s proprietary ERP application “Warp,” facilitating planning, procurement, and vehicle production.
- Develop scalable and efficient software using frontend tools like Angular and React, and backend frameworks including C#/.NET, Java, and Go.
- Gain deep understanding of application business logic and technical architecture to maximize development impact.
- Deliver development tasks and small projects on time while adhering to Tesla’s software standards and best practices.
- Continuously learn and implement modern software development practices, patterns, and technologies to improve code quality and system performance.
- Identify opportunities to increase software efficiency and reduce technical debt and waste.
Skills & Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates who have:
- 4+ years of experience in web application development with expertise in API implementation, Object-Oriented Programming and Design (OOP&D), and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM).
- Strong frontend development skills using JavaScript frameworks like Angular and React.
- Solid backend development experience with languages such as C#, Java, or Go.
- Proficiency in working with relational (MySQL, SQL) and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and collaborative team environments.
- Experience with distributed version control systems, particularly Git.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
