Key Responsibilities

Software Development & Delivery

• Translate functional and business requirements into technical specifications for Endur trading systems.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software solutions using Endur JVS, Core Java, and SQL.
• Lead defect fixes, enhancements, and special projects across the software development lifecycle (SDLC) following DevOps methodologies.
• Prototype and pilot emerging technologies to support Shell’s evolving Trading and Supply business needs.

Collaboration & Mentorship

• Build strong partnerships with IT teams, business stakeholders, and end-users to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Provide mentorship and onboarding support to junior team members.
• Actively contribute to local and global IT community initiatives within Shell.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to optimize existing processes, enhance system performance, and improve user experience.
• Manage change control, application testing, data integrity, and end-user support activities.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 5-8 years of experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) roles.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with Endur JVS application development.
• Strong programming skills in Core Java and advanced SQL, with expertise in query optimization.
• Deep domain knowledge of Energy/Commodity Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) systems.
• Proven experience supporting complex applications: change management, patching, testing, and end-user training.
• Familiarity with Trade Capture, Risk Management, Scheduling, Operations, Settlements, and Accounting modules within Endur.
• Skilled in Endur database schema, memory management in JVS, Open Components scripting, Connex, Grid Enabled Scripts, and Operation Services.
• Experience with Endur Trade Process Management (TPM) implementations.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps tools: VSTS, GitHub, Git.
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple priorities and deliver on time.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in a multicultural, distributed environment.
