Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop managed, secure, and resilient traffic connectivity solutions within a large-scale microservices environment.
- Drive architectural decisions to address challenges related to high-volume, high-scale, and high-velocity traffic engineering.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable automated tenant lifecycle management and unified authentication experiences.
- Lead design discussions, contribute to system architecture, and ensure software solutions meet high standards of performance, security, and maintainability.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Deliver high-quality, scalable code on tight schedules while adhering to Amazon’s software development best practices.
- Engage in operational excellence by monitoring, debugging, and resolving issues in production environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of professional software development experience, including programming with at least one major language such as Java, C++, or C#.
- 5+ years of experience leading software design, architecture, and development of complex, scalable systems.
- Proven track record as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
- Strong understanding of design patterns, system reliability, and scaling techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with full software development lifecycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Previous experience building large-scale cloud-based systems or microservice architectures.
- Hands-on knowledge of network security, traffic management, and tenant lifecycle automation is a plus.
