Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of junior Workday developers, providing guidance on projects and development best practices.
- Develop and manage integrations using Workday Extend, Studio, Core Connectors, Payroll Connectors, and Custom Reports.
- Design and implement API-based integrations (REST/SOAP), handling payloads in JSON and XML, with knowledge of OAuth 2.0.
- Develop Workday Extend applications according to business requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including design specifications, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
- Stay updated with Workday best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies to optimize development processes.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in Workday applications development, including EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, Orchestration, Reports, Security, and Extend.
- Proficiency in Workday Extend model objects, PMD Scripting, WQL, GraphQL, and RaaS.
- Solid understanding of Workday architecture, web services, REST/SOAP, JSON/XML, and authentication mechanisms.
- Experience in Agile development methodologies.
- Ability to code in Java, .NET, or JavaScript is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and independent work abilities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical, Business, or related field.
- 6–10 years of overall experience in IT, with minimum 3 years in Workday applications development.
- Proven experience in Workday integrations, reporting, and application development.
