Key Responsibilities
As a Snowflake Data Engineer – Senior at EY, you will:
- Lead data engineering projects with focus on Snowflake, Python, SQL, and Spark.
- Build and optimize ETL pipelines using tools such as Databricks, Airflow, and Azure Data Factory.
- Oversee delivery and quality by managing vendor and distributed teams.
- Collaborate with commercial business leads in pharma/life sciences to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Work with CRM data, sales performance data, field activity data, and syndicated datasets.
- Ensure compliance with privacy and regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, GDPR, and GxP.
- Drive Agile-based data product development with cross-functional teams.
Skills & Attributes for Success
- Advanced expertise in Snowflake, Python, SQL, Spark/PySpark.
- Strong experience with data pipeline orchestration tools (Databricks, Airflow, ADF).
- Ability to lead, mentor, and coordinate teams across geographies.
- Familiarity with pharma/life sciences data structures and reporting.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on scalability, quality, and compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in pharma commercial analytics: market access, promotional analytics, or omnichannel engagement.
- Knowledge of HCP/HCO identity resolution and Customer 360 data strategies.
- Understanding of AI/ML integration into data pipelines and MLOps workflows.
- Exposure to AI-driven segmentation, targeting, and advanced analytics use cases.
