Key Responsibilities
Data Science & Analytics:
- Develop customer-centric data solutions using advanced analytics, AI/ML, and business intelligence (BI) technologies.
- Design scalable statistical and machine learning models for predictive and prescriptive insights.
- Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources (e.g., Databricks) for modeling and workflow orchestration.
- Implement forecasting models and analyze large datasets to identify trends and opportunities.
- Refine and communicate data visualizations to deliver actionable business insights.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Partner with business units to identify analytics opportunities and define requirements.
- Lead workshops and prototyping sessions to enhance analytics product functionality.
- Collaborate with DevOps, database teams, and IT stakeholders to ensure proper integration with enterprise systems.
- Guide team members in delivering end-to-end data science solutions.
Innovation & Leadership:
- Advocate the use of generative AI, AI/ML, and advanced analytics to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and growth mindset.
- Lead complex projects with global teams, providing mentorship and strategic direction.
- Apply creative problem-solving to anticipate and address business challenges.
Skills & Attributes for Success
Technical Expertise:
- Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, and distributed data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
- Experience with Data Visualization tools such as Tableau, R Shiny, or Plotly.
- Knowledge of MLOps, ETL processes, Databricks, and statistical modeling libraries (SciKit-Learn, MLlib, Statsmodels).
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks, generative AI, and predictive modeling techniques.
- Experience designing and implementing data pipelines, feature engineering, and large-scale data architectures.
Business & Leadership:
- Strong business acumen, especially in sectors like Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, or Life Sciences (preferred).
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate insights, and influence decisions.
- Strategic thinker with a proven ability to lead teams and deliver complex analytics projects globally.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with SAFe Agile, Waterfall, and Iterative methodologies.
- Experience in IICS/DMS (Data Migration Service) is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing business priorities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in data mining, data analysis, statistical modeling, and AI/ML applications.
- Demonstrated experience with data engineering, predictive modeling, and visualization in a professional setting.
- Exposure to global teams, multi-cultural environments, and enterprise-scale projects.
