Key Responsibilities
Security Monitoring & Incident Response
- Monitor security alerts and events from QRadar SIEM and other sources.
- Perform initial triage, classification, and investigation of potential security incidents.
- Escalate confirmed incidents to SOC L2 Analysts or Incident Response Team.
- Assist in containment, mitigation, and documentation of security threats.
Threat Intelligence & Reporting
- Utilize threat intelligence feeds and tools to improve detection and response capabilities.
- Generate and deliver security metrics and incident reports to stakeholders.
- Participate in post-incident reviews to identify SOC process improvements.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure comprehensive cybersecurity coverage.
- Stay updated with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.
- Contribute to SOC operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 2–5 years in SOC operations, SIEM analysis, or cybersecurity monitoring.
- Hands-on expertise with QRadar SIEM and SOAR tools.
- Familiarity with SOC processes, incident response, and threat intelligence.
- Relevant certifications: CEH, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA CASP+ (preferred).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure, 24×7 rotational environments.
