Key Responsibilities
As a Shift Incharge – Production, you will:
- Ensure adherence to the production plan as per batch cycles and schedules.
- Manage shop-floor activities, including rescheduling in case of plan changes.
- Supervise and guide production teams to meet targets.
- Monitor inventory of intermediates and conduct stock reconciliations.
- Ensure proper use of calibrated equipment to minimize downtime.
- Review daily operations and coordinate with technical/admin teams to resolve production issues.
- Collaborate with:
- Stores on raw material availability and adjustments.
- Maintenance on preventive, routine, and breakdown maintenance.
- Dispatch on batch prioritization and emergency production requirements.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 3–7 years in production/plant operations or industrial manufacturing.
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Production Engineering (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and DCS systems.
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage inventory, manpower planning, and shift operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and plant management tools.
