Responsibilities
Lead & Manage Testing
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, including automation, for various engagements.
- Manage multiple projects in an agile environment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Oversee test environment setup, maintenance, and management for optimal execution of test scenarios.
- Translate functional and technical changes into actionable testing deliverables and improvements.
Automation Strategy & Execution
- Design and implement test automation frameworks and strategies, utilizing Selenium, Playwright, and other tools to maximize test efficiency.
- Build, execute, and maintain automated tests for CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous delivery of high-quality software.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Collaboration & Innovation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams at the program level to drive high-impact testing strategies.
- Champion new testing initiatives and continuously improve testing methodologies.
- Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and Intellectual Property (IP) harvesting across teams.
Continuous Learning & Adaptation
- Stay up to date with emerging testing methodologies, tools, and best practices to maintain a cutting-edge testing approach.
- Proactively adapt to new challenges in dynamic environments, ensuring effective solutions for testing complex systems.
Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in software testing and automation, with expertise in tools like Selenium, Playwright, and programming languages like C#, Java, JavaScript, Python.
- Hands-on experience in building testing frameworks from the ground up.
- Proficiency in test estimation, planning, and execution, ensuring successful delivery of complex projects.
- Experience using test management tools, with preference for Azure DevOps.
- DevOps expertise, including CI/CD automation and scripting.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
Must-Have Skills:
- Deep understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and automation best practices.
- Customer-focused with a passion for enhancing the customer experience through quality solutions.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing, especially Microsoft Azure.
- Experience leading agile/Scrum testing teams and coordinating with various stakeholders.
- Ability to think strategically while being process-oriented in testing.
