Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Technician, I-C (Maintenance AGI GT-Control) at ADNOC Offshore, you will:
- Perform maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of AGI Gas Turbine Control systems.
- Inspect and test Gas Turbine Control equipment to ensure optimal operation and compliance with safety standards.
- Diagnose system faults using specialized diagnostic and testing tools.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support preventive maintenance programs and reduce downtime.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Ensure adherence to ADNOC Offshore’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies during all maintenance tasks.
- Support training and mentoring of junior technicians to enhance team capabilities.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize turbine control system reliability and performance.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Extensive experience in Gas Turbine Control system maintenance, preferably with AGI GT-Control.
- Strong technical knowledge of control systems, PLCs, and instrumentation.
- Proficient in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and control schematics.
- Skilled in using specialized diagnostic and maintenance tools.
- Strong commitment to HSE standards and procedures.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, offshore environment and under rotational shift schedules.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical, Control Systems, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Gas Turbine Control system maintenance within the oil and gas industry.
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., PLC programming, instrumentation) are a plus.
- Prior experience working in offshore or industrial environments highly preferred.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
