Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Instrumentation & Control Technician at ADNOC, you will:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on instrumentation and control equipment.
  • Calibrate, test, and troubleshoot sensors, transmitters, PLCs, and DCS systems.
  • Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant instrumentation systems.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support commissioning, shutdowns, and upgrades of control systems.
  • Maintain documentation, maintenance logs, and compliance with ADNOC safety standards.

Required Skills

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Strong technical knowledge of instrumentation and control systems.
  • Hands-on experience with PLCs, DCS, SCADA systems, and calibration tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of oil & gas industry safety practices and standards.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or technical certification in Instrumentation, Control Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in instrumentation and control maintenance.
  • Prior work experience in oil & gas, petrochemicals, or energy industry preferred.
  • Strong adherence to ADNOC’s HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards.
