Key Responsibilities
As an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring reliable operation and preventive maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems in material handling processes.
- Managing equipment such as belt conveyors, screw conveyors, bucket elevators, stackers, and reclaimers.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting motors, VFDs, and control panels to reduce downtime.
- Optimizing electrical systems for safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborating with mechanical, production, and control room teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Assisting in root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring failures.
- Supporting upgrades, modifications, and system improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Experience: 5–10 years in cement, heavy manufacturing, or material handling systems (cement industry preferred).
- Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance, instrumentation, and process optimization.
- Proficiency in handling control panels, automation, and VFD systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced plant operations environment.
