Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of industrial instruments (PT, TT, LT, FT, CV, XV).
- Manage and troubleshoot DCS/PLC systems for production, QC, R&D, and maintenance departments.
- Review pending/incomplete job reports from previous shifts and resolve high-priority breakdowns or calibration issues.
- Maintain calibration records and compliance documents as per industry standards.
- Conduct routine plant rounds to ensure reliability of all instrumentation systems.
- Handle installation and commissioning of field instruments for new projects, including fabrication and fittings.
- Configure and update DCS programs (trip settings, alarms, interlocks) based on operational requirements.
- Implement process and safety interlocks within DCS systems.
- Maintain spare parts inventory, assess requirements, and coordinate procurement with the Assistant Manager β Instrumentation.
Required Skills
- Strong technical knowledge of instrumentation and control systems.
- Proficiency in DCS/PLC programming and configuration.
- Experience with industrial calibration, troubleshooting, and safety systems.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, manuals, and technical documents.
- Excellent problem-solving, planning, and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs/Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in instrumentation and control systems.
