Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Team Lead – Fund Accounting & Reporting, you will:
Fund Accounting & Reporting
- Perform fund accounting for hedge funds and private equity funds including journal entries, financial statement preparation, payments processing, and investor notices.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financials under relevant GAAP.
- Manage capital activities such as subscriptions, redemptions, rollups, transfers, contributions, and distributions.
- Conduct NAV/GAV calculations, market value reconciliations, and expense accounting (management fee, admin fee, incentive fee).
Stakeholder & Audit Coordination
- Collaborate with fund administrators, statutory auditors, and investors to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Respond to day-to-day fund inquiries including security trades, cash positions, and reconciliations.
- Manage investor relationships and deliverables across reporting cycles.
Leadership & Team Development
- Train, coach, and mentor team members to enhance technical and reporting skills.
- Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional development.
- Contribute thought leadership through publications or technical articles (preferred).
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification (mandatory).
- Strong technical expertise in fund accounting, hedge funds, and private equity reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and deliver under pressure.
- Proactive, team-oriented, and result-driven approach.
- Fluency in English (written & spoken).
