Key Responsibilities

As a Liquidity Controller – Associate, you will:

• Produce daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly liquidity risk reports, including JPM Internal Stress and 6G/LCR reports, highlighting key drivers and variance analysis.
• Develop and deliver detailed liquidity metrics packages for CIB senior management and key stakeholders.
• Analyze the impact of financial products (deposits, derivatives, commitments, secured funding) and regulatory requirements (Basel III, LCR/NSFR) on liquidity and capital positions.
• Collaborate with global teams to provide sub-Line of Business commentary, ensuring comprehensive and aligned reporting.
• Partner with FALMA, CTMO, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting, maintaining high data integrity standards.
• Engage with senior CIB Treasury, Controllers, and Liquidity Risk Oversight teams to analyze balance sheet and liquidity implications.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and optimization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency in balance sheet and liquidity management.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in finance, treasury, or risk management with strong analytical capabilities.
• Solid understanding of financial markets, on- and off-balance-sheet products, particularly in market and prime brokerage businesses.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access).

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Familiarity with liquidity risk regulations and implications for financial products.
• Experience with automation and visualization tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, or Python to enhance reporting and analysis.
• Proactive approach to staying informed about regulatory developments impacting CIB Treasury and liquidity management.
