Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Structural Engineer at ADNOC Gas, you will:
- Lead structural design, analysis, and verification for oil & gas facilities (onshore and offshore).
- Develop and review engineering documents, including specifications, drawings, and calculations.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and international structural design codes (ACI, API, Eurocode).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during FEED, EPC, and maintenance phases of projects.
- Conduct structural integrity assessments and risk-based inspections.
- Provide technical support to construction, commissioning, and operations teams.
- Supervise junior engineers and mentor team members on best practices.
Required Skills
- Expert knowledge in structural analysis software: STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, Tekla, etc.
- Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, technical reports, and construction documents.
- Strong understanding of load-bearing structures in oil & gas environments.
- Ability to manage multiple engineering projects with tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in structural engineering within oil & gas or heavy industry.
- Professional Engineering (PE) or Chartered Engineer status is a plus.
- Familiarity with ADNOC design standards and UAE construction regulations is advantageous.
