Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and benchmark LNG joint venture asset performance to recommend improvements in:
- Energy efficiency
- Product yields
- Cost optimization
- Provide technical expertise throughout the design, commissioning, and startup phases of LNG expansion projects.
- Influence JV operators by guiding operational strategies aligned with QatarEnergy’s long-term objectives.
- Lead engineering performance audits, reporting, and compliance checks to meet internal and international standards.
- Support asset governance and help develop strategic frameworks to enhance asset reliability and sustainability.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the oil & gas or midstream LNG industry, with at least 5 years in LNG operations or engineering roles.
- Strong technical foundation in:
- Process engineering principles
- Process control and safety systems
- Simulation, integration, and modeling tools
- Proven ability to analyze complex engineering problems and deliver strategic solutions.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence JV partners and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering software tools.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Postgraduate studies or certifications in Process Engineering or Energy Systems are a plus.
