Key Responsibilities

• Analyze complex pricing structures and deliver insightful commercial breakdowns to optimize profitability on managed services deals across APAC.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hardware/software licensing and vendor commercial models (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, VMWare).
• Lead pricing negotiations, collaborating with sales and vendor teams to mitigate risks and avoid channel or regional conflicts.
• Develop competitive pricing proposals tailored to client requirements and market trends.
• Conduct risk assessments and manage commercial exposure on deals.
• Create and implement pricing tools, templates, and frameworks to streamline deal packaging and response processes.
• Partner with legal teams for contract reviews and ensure compliance with pricing policies.
• Perform scenario analysis, sensitivity checks, and “what-if” comparisons during deal structuring.
• Transfer pricing knowledge and best practices to Global Delivery Centers for ongoing contract management.
• Facilitate pricing training and enablement programs for sales and delivery teams to enhance understanding and compliance.
• Analyze pricing trends and competitive intelligence to inform strategic pricing decisions.

Required Skills & Attributes

• Strong understanding of IT industry pricing, commercial models, and vendor licensing (Cisco, Microsoft, VMWare).
• Proficiency in financial analysis including P&L, cash flow, and deal valuation.
• Expert in pricing complex managed services and commercial modeling using MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to analyze market trends, competitive pressures, and implement innovative pricing solutions.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration across sales, finance, and legal teams.
• Commercial acumen and ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
• Knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP and global commerce policies is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Commerce, or a related field.
• 5-8+ years of professional experience in pricing, commercial analysis, or financial analysis roles.
• At least 4 years experience in pricing complex managed services deals within a large IT or technology services company.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing pricing strategies and commercial models.
