Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement scheduled, effective maintenance programs to support refinery, tank farms, and chemical plant operations.
- Minimize production downtime by optimizing maintenance workflows and scheduling.
- Estimate labor hours, material requirements, and skill sets needed for maintenance jobs accurately.
- Utilize CMMS (SAP or similar) and planning software (Primavera, MS Project) to plan and track maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate closely with maintenance teams to ensure clear communication and effective work execution.
- Plan and coordinate shutdowns and turnaround activities, ensuring minimal impact on production.
- Interpret and analyze technical drawings, blueprints, and process diagrams to support maintenance planning.
- Maintain thorough documentation and reporting to support continuous process improvements.
- Foster a collaborative environment with approachable and tactful communication across teams.
Required Skills and Experience
- At least 8 years of experience in maintenance planning in the Petroleum Refinery, Oil & Gas, or Petrochemical industries.
- Strong knowledge of routine maintenance planning processes and work order systems.
- Proficient in estimating labor hours, materials, and required skills for various maintenance jobs.
- Experienced in Shutdown and Turnaround maintenance planning.
- Skilled in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (SAP CMMS or equivalent).
- Proficient with planning and scheduling software such as Primavera and Microsoft Project.
- Ability to read and understand standard blueprints, machine drawings, and technical documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work tactfully and collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams.
Educational Qualifications
- Completion of Secondary Education (12 years).
- Technical Diploma or Trade Certificate.
- Formal training in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and planning software.
