Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Performance Engineer at Barclays Pune, you will:
- Lead end-to-end performance testing including NFR, architecture review, planning, execution, and analysis.
- Develop and execute load, stress, and operational testing strategies to ensure system reliability.
- Utilize tools such as Microfocus LoadRunner, JMeter, K6, and monitoring platforms like AppDynamics and Dynatrace.

- Apply chaos engineering techniques using Gremlin or AWS FIS to validate system resiliency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to resolve performance issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends, Gen AI integration for performance engineering, and observability practices.
- Ensure adherence to secure coding, testing, and performance best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in performance testing and engineering for large-scale applications.
- Hands-on experience with LoadRunner, JMeter, and K6.
- Knowledge of AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Kibana, and Grafana for monitoring and observability.
- Experience with cloud platforms including AWS and Red Hat OpenShift.
- Understanding of chaos engineering and failover testing.

- Familiarity with operational, failover, and resiliency testing.
