About the Role
As a Senior Oracle Finance Consultant, you will lead and support Oracle ERP and Fusion Financial implementations. You will collaborate with client teams to gather requirements, design functional solutions, configure modules, and execute testing and training. You will also mentor junior team members and contribute to quality deliverables and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering and documentation using AIM, OUM, or other methodologies.
- Configure and maintain Oracle Fusion Financial modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Expenses, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
- Conduct Conference Room Pilot (CRP) sessions and participate in design reviews.
- Map client requirements against Fusion Financial modules and deliver offshore solutions.
- Design module-specific solutions in an integrated Oracle Fusion environment.
- Support Functional Fit-Gap Analysis, Training, Testing (SIT/UAT), and PMO activities.
- Prepare quality deliverables, test scripts, and training materials.
- Mentor and guide junior team members on Oracle Finance implementations.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP Financials and Fusion Financials.
- Hands-on experience in full lifecycle implementations and client-facing roles.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional and design specifications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in testing, training, and documentation methodologies (OUM/AIM).
- Ability to multi-task, manage deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications
- CA, CWA, or MBA-Finance from a recognized institution.
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in Oracle ERP Financials, with at least 2 years in Fusion Financials.
- Experience in 3+ full lifecycle implementations, with one on Fusion Financials.
- Exposure to Project Accounting and Supply Chain modules is a plus.
- Experience in data conversion, integrations, solution design, and functional specs.
