Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Operations Support Engineer – Turnaround at ADNOC Gas, you will:
- Lead operations support for planned turnarounds and shutdowns across JV offshore assets.
- Coordinate with planning, maintenance, HSE, and operations teams to align activities and schedules.
- Provide expert input in turnaround strategy development, job scope definition, and execution plans.
- Monitor KPIs, prepare progress reports, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC operational, safety, and environmental standards during shutdown phases.
- Analyze post-turnaround performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as the operations focal point for all turnaround activities on Das Island.
Key Skills
- Strong understanding of turnaround management and shutdown execution in offshore oil & gas environments.
- Proficient in using SAP PM, CMMS tools, and project planning software such as Primavera P6.
- Solid command of HSE practices and ISO-compliant operational standards.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams in high-pressure offshore environments.
- Exceptional analytical, planning, and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in turnaround/operations support within oil & gas industries.
- Offshore and island-based plant experience is essential.
- Familiarity with ADNOC Group procedures and JV operations is preferred.
- Certification in project or turnaround management is an added advantage.
