Key Responsibilities
- Lead SOC operations including 24×7 threat monitoring, detection, and incident management.
- Conduct analysis of suspicious, malicious, and abnormal behavior across client systems.
- Perform alert triage, incident validation, and severity assessment to ensure timely response.
- Prioritize and create security incidents following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Report and escalate critical security events to stakeholders.
- Conduct post-incident analysis to identify root causes and mitigation strategies.
- Maintain and update incident management and response policies and playbooks.
- Preserve security artifacts for forensic investigations.
- Ensure adherence to SLA and KPI targets, reducing Mean Time to Detection (MTTD) and Mean Time to Response (MTTR).
- Mentor and lead cybersecurity teams, providing guidance on threat detection and response techniques.
Mandatory Skills & Certifications
- Certified SOC Analyst (EC-Council), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (EC-Council), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, or GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) or equivalent.
- Experience with SOC platforms, security automation, asset integration, threat intelligence management, and threat hunting.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with SOC tools like Splunk, SIEM, Vulnerability Management, DAM, UBA, SOAR, NBA.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, incident response processes, and managed services operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, B.Tech, MCA, or MBA with IT background.
- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant SOC, cybersecurity, or incident response experience.
