Key Responsibilities
- Implement secure-by-design principles to enable digital transformation across Chevron IT platforms.
- Develop and maintain IT cybersecurity architectural guidelines and governance frameworks.
- Lead security research, proofs of concept, and emerging tech integration.
- Conduct IT cybersecurity risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Design and define robust cybersecurity architectures for enterprise IT solutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert in areas such as Network Security, Cloud Security, Endpoint Security, Application Security, Data Security, and Identity & Access Management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex cybersecurity challenges.
- Continuously improve cybersecurity measures against evolving threats.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with increasing responsibility.
- Proven expertise in multiple cybersecurity domains: Network Security, Cloud Security, Endpoint Security, Application Security, Data Security, IAM.
- Understanding of cyber threat landscape, including cyber-criminal and cyber-espionage threats.
- Experience managing and supporting cybersecurity operations and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks like NIST 800-53, MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain.
- Experience in conducting cybersecurity risk and vulnerability assessments.
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Ability to influence teams across multiple disciplines and cultural backgrounds.
- Proven leadership in cross-functional project environments.
